We believe in taking a modern approach to embroidery at Ryder & Amies, with this in mind be have recently purchased brand new embroidery machinery for our workrooms, using the most up to date hardware available ensures that all garments bearing our label feature the best representation of the design possible.

Along with the larger machine we also own a new two headed embroidery machine capable of producing smaller orders & samples of your chosen design for approval before moving to the larger machine to process the full order.

We specialise in producing a full range of garments bearing the officially licensed arms for the University of Cambridge, we do however also embroider for other colleges, clubs & societies & are always keen to look at new designs.
One of the biggest advantages which we are able to offer over our competitors is "in house design conversion" most embroiderers will need to send your design away for a stitch count & then on your approval of the cost have a disc of the design made to run on the embroidery machine, this of course takes time & is expensive, adding to the cost of the individual garments; Ryder & Amies have invested in the necessary software to produce the discs "in house" & for most orders are able to do this with no cost* passed over to the customer.  All you pay for is the base garment & embroidery!! 

* Complex designs & very small orders may attract a design fee.
