Ph.D (Festal) Gown

Ph.D Gown. A black gown with glove sleeves, having horizontal slits to free the arm, and with strings. Above each sleeve there are four inches of Doctors’ lace placed horizontally above each arm slit. The facings, four inches wide, are of scarlet cloth and these are available as either fixed or detachable.
Ph.D Gowns are British-made are individually made in our local factory in Cambridgeshire, England.
Available in 100% polyester or Russell Cord fabric, which is a superior heavyweight wool/cotton mix. British-made gowns, come with gown cover and wooden walnut hanger printed with University of Cambridge crest.
